Supplier Identification :

Texpoint identifies new suppliers based on their product range, financial status, infrastructure, manpower and efficiency of management. We continuously update our information on new manufacturers and new products. Information pertaining to new varieties of value additions, fabric, yarn, accessories, new technology area and quota availability are also updated.

Selection of Vendors :

We assess the factories in terms of product range, quality of the product made, production capacity, facilities, financial capability, technology orientation, man power, working conditions, managerial efficiency and their overall quality policy. Once our initial assessment is over we exchange information with our principals and make a combined decision in approving an identified vendor.

Laboratories are an extremely valuable component of our services and also facilitates the manufacturer – exporters to transact their business with least quality risk. Laboratory services includes :

• » Fabric : Construction particulars (counts, constructions and weight), Strength, Measurement and Seam performance.
• » Analysis : Flammability, Dimensional Stability (Shrinkage) to washing / dry cleaning, Appearance after washing /dry cleaning, Fiber analysis, etc.
• » Color Fastness : Color fastness to washing, Perspiration, Light, Rubbing, Bleaching, Dry cleaning, Organic Solvents, Hot pressing, etc. Dyes & Pigment tests are also carried out.
• » Garment : Dimensional Stability to washing / dry cleaning, Appearance after washing / dry cleaning are tested.

We arrange sampling from appropriate suppliers as per buyers designs, sketches etc. Samples against orders and Promotional samples are sent by suppliers.

Samples are developed to suit the season’s colors, fabric and style based of our buyer’s requirements. Salesman samples are made as per the buyers’ requirements and sent to them. By offering these crucial service, we assist our buyers marketing efforts in their own country by giving them an edge over others.

We scrutinize prices quoted by the supplier and with our own experience of the cost components to obtain the most realistic prices.

We follow up each order in precise details from fabric/yarn to garment, to shipment stage. At each stage, progress is intimated to buyer and he is kept informed of the actual status of the orders throughout.

Status reports – based on the multi-state inspections are transmitted to the buyers by fax or e-mail. Production progress is analyzed in relation to the delivery terms and suitable course of actions taken to ensure goods are delivered in time. The consignment is allowed for shipment if only it is upto the buyers required standards/specifications.

An identification of the goods during the loading is made to ensure that only the inspected goods are being stuffed without getting mixed up with the un-inspected goods.

Shipping documents are checked to verify their conformity to buyers instructions and sent in advance to the buyer. As a policy, we insist that all our cargo must be handled only by a reputed Forwarder, so that, we get correct information well in time about exact sailing details, ETD / ETA of vessels. We also try for priority in booking and loading wherever possible. In suitable circumstances, we may arrange grouping of cargo arriving from different suppliers. This system enables the buyer to import several consignments as one lot and reduces his import cost on freight, clearing, forwarding and cargo handling. We can assist if required in negotiating and obtain special freight rates on the basis of regular turnover. This too results in reducing buyer’s cost of import.

Shipping documents are checked as per the buyers’ instruction and the copy documents are sent to the buyers in time to avoid any discrepancy.

To avoid demurrage at destination, we collect copies of shipping documents such as B/L, AWB, Invoice, Packing list, original G.S.P., Certificate of Origin, Export Certificate etc. from all suppliers immediately after shipment and forward them to respective buyers.

We work as their extended arm in Bangladesh. We accompany our buyers on their buying visits, factory visits and inspection visits. We assist them with their itinerary and accommodation. We also orient the buyers on the dos and don’ts of the business practice in the country, its culture, customs and tradition to make their visit fruitful and enjoyable.
